Description: William Penn University (Oskaloosa, Iowa) announces a full-time, nine-month tenure-track position in Psychology commencing August 2025. A Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline is preferred, although MA/MS shall be considered. Teaching experience focused on student engagement and learning, and the ability to connect with and inspire students, is highly desired. Screening begins immediately and continues until the position is filled.

We seek creative and energetic professors, advisors, and colleagues, colleagues who are intellectually curious, collaborative, technologically savvy (especially and including Gen AI), and involved in campus life. As a Penn Professor, you will collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines as well as with local human services agencies/organizations. We seek master teachers, interactive advisors, inspiring mentors, with a welcoming approach to prospective students to the program. A commitment to our mission, vision, campus culture, and continual professional and pedagogical improvement is expected.
Courses include Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Psychology, Social Psychology, Personality, Learning, Experimental Psychology, and Neuropsychology. Twelve credit hours per semester.
