Becoming a Member of MPA and Dues Payment
Eligibility
- REGULAR members (not graduate student affiliates) of organizations such
as APA or APS
or CPA or anyone with a doctoral degree in psychology
can become a member of MPA by applying to the Secretary-Treasurer.
Applications are normally submitted online. Current graduate students in psychology can be members
with endorsement from a regular MPA member. Undergraduates are not eligible for membership.
Paying Dues
- $45 for one year and $120 for three years; Graduate students: $20, payable annually. Dues include your registration for the annual meeting.
- You can pay online with a debit or credit card at
this link. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express using the online system. You can also send a payment by PayPal to secretary@midwesternpsych.org.
- If you use the paper application, fax your membership application to 214.580.5724 along with the receipt for your dues paid online, or send a check and your application to the address below. If you are able to scan in the membership application (with signatures), you may email the application and dues receipt to secretary@midwesternpsych.org.
- Checks should be made payable to the Midwestern Psychological Association, and should be mailed to:

- MPA's fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Dues become payable on July 1. If you are unsure if your dues are current, the Secretary-Treasurer will be happy to let you know.
- Life Members: Life Members have all the rights of Members but are exempt from dues payment. Members qualify for life membership if they (1) have been an MPA Members for at least ten years, (2) have paid dues for the previous and current year, and (3) have reached 65 years of age by October l of the year in which they apply for life membership. Members wishing to become Life Members shall make written request to the Secretary-Treasurer by regular mail or at secretary@midwesternpsych.org
